Christopher Biggs brings over 20 years of strategic marketing experience to the GreatBlue Research team. His career spans both client-side leadership and agency-based consulting, with a focus on financial services, consumer packaged goods, healthcare and utilities. Biggs began his career working at The United Illuminating Company (UI), where he helped market and drive adoption of the company’s B2B and B2C energy conversation programs. Working closely with commercial clients, economic development teams, and community outreach liaisons, he managed the implementation of many multichannel communications campaigns that effectively reached key decision makers at C&I businesses, municipalities, and consumers. Following UI, for over 12 years, Christopher oversaw the national brand advertising for Amica Insurance, where he built an insights driven marketing practice that helped the insurance company grow from a well-known regional player to a national competitor. He earned his BA in Communications from the University of Connecticut, was recognized by the New Haven Business Journal as 40 under Forty in 2004 and has several google analytics accreditations. Fun fact: Christopher began his career in the utilities vertical, where he first met GreatBlue.
