Lodi Electric Utility Survey Focuses on Customer Service
GreatBlue conducted commercial and residential customer satisfaction surveys for the Lodi Electric Utility in California. This article summarizes the results, as presented by CEO Michael Vigeant to Lodi Electric Utility, and expands on how the findings will help the utility moving forward. “At the Lodi City Council meeting on June 15, council members heard that while residents are generally happy with the Lodi Electric Utility, there is room for improvement.”

Rochester Public Utilities Publishes Customer Survey Results & Launches New Initiatives
Minnesota’s Rochester Public Utilities has published online the findings of its Customer Satisfaction & Perception Study. GreatBlue identified customer perceptions of service and education and made recommendations based on findings.

Additionally, RPU has published info on follow-up initiatives that stem from the findings of the study. For example, RPU organized community education classes for energy efficiency audits and solar energy information, which were two of the opportunities identified in the study. Plus, RPU published news about the installation of electric vehicle charging stations around town in response to the concerns about greenhouse gas emissions, as well as advice on ways to conserve energy in the home.

Pipeline Safety Program Evaluation Study Identifies Areas of Improvement for Multiple Stakeholders
The Northeast Gas Association (NGA) commissioned GreatBlue to conduct market research among its affected stakeholders within the State of New York to gain a deeper understanding into their awareness of natural gas pipeline safety education and recall of key messages. The primary goal of this research study was to assess the effectiveness of NGA’s current pipeline safety program within New York, identify areas for improvement, and isolate methods that may increase engagement. Results were compared to 2014 GreatBlue Research study findings to determine if initiatives resulting from the 2014 study created the change that was needed.
